Department of Early Modern History |
|
The department carries
out basic research of economic, social, ecclesiastical and cultural history of
Slovakia from the 16th to the 18th century in Central European context. The
research is focused on political development during the period of Anti-Habsburg
uprisings; history of mining and metallurgy; social, religious and ethnic
structure of the population and its educational level. The research is aimed
also on the themes from the history of everydayness and the position of women in
society.
