The department deals with
selected themes from the history of science and technologies in Slovakia from
the ancient times till nowadays with the aim to put them into European context.
The research is focused on the evaluation of significant personalities of
science and technologies. The results of the research are presented in the form
of monographs, collective publications and scholarly articles.
